This is quite typical. It all seems so easy, as long as we stick to vague generalizations and broad statements of change over time. Once we start to actually look at the number, however, the cold, hard facts start to come into focus. Hopefully your professor friend will start to ask more questions himself as a result of your exchange.Eric Anderson
