… figure out what they want to you say, then say it, acting like you believe it.
Why? Microbiologist Caroline Crocker, author of Free to Think, having been driven from George Mason University for pointing out problems with Darwinism, found all academic doors closed. She was appointed to head up the IDEA Center
… but difficulties arose. The main goal of the IDEA Center was to start and maintain IDEA (student ID study) clubs on campuses, but I was receiving feedback saying that students engaged in this kind of activity were encountering all kinds of opposition. The IDEA Center was founded at a time when the debate was less politicized and students could b openly pro-ID without fearing extreme retribution. Since the first IDEA Club had formed in 1999 thigns had changed. In some cases students to to form IDEA Clubs under pseudonyms or the clubs had to serve as secret safe houses where pro-ID students could be “out of the closet” about their pro-ID views.Despite the opposition, IDEA Clubs still exist on university campuses. However, for myself, I felt thatthe best thing I could do to help students would be to prove them with verifiable scientific evidence, clear explanations, and the intellectual tools necessary to make informed decisions about the implications of technology and science for society, rather than just helping them form clubs. So she founded AITSE to do that.
Kids, remember what Christian Darwinist Uncle Karl, formerly of BioLogos, says,
Anti-evolutionists need to undermine the concept of “scientific orthodoxy.” And they have succeeded in convincing many evangelicals that it represents nothing more than the unsupported collective opinion of scientists who are basically just “voting” on things. Going against this orthodoxy, as the anti-evolutionists have to do needs to appear courageous and revolutionary, not eccentric and uninformed.
There, you see! Whether you are evangelical or atheist or whatever, no matter how foolish it sounds; it must be true. It’s an orthodoxy.
It’s okay for Jerry Fodor to know garbage when he sees it, but not you.
Look, you can always have a life and learn the facts once you’ve wrung that blasted piece of paper out of the system.
