One tries to catch a nap and then this:
This book is a product of its time and does not reflect the same values as it would if it were written today. Parents might wish to discuss with their children how views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations have changed since this book was written before allowing them to read this classic work.
So? Are not all books products of their time?
The Odyssey? Pride and Prejudice?
This seems not to be a joke. Who should even be reading Kant who needs this rubbishy warning?
For that matter, why should someone who needs an intellectual soother, teething ring, and infant carrier be at a university?
If you need trigger warnings, trust me, you do not need university. Save the money for cosmetic surgery instead.
