So what’s been happening in the wake of the Large Hadron Collider’s general failure to produce exotic physics stuff?

Whether they will succeed in doing this or not, I have no idea, but I have no problem with them giving it a try. However, I don’t think they’ll ever find what they want to find, because I believe they are trying to find evidence for a process that never actually happened. They are scientists though and that is what scientists do – propose a theory and then see if it matches reality - so I can’t fault them for trying. However, I wish they would teach their various hypotheses in school openly and honestly instead of as 100% factual. They DON"T have things worked out. They don't even know if there ever really was a "Big Bang" as none of the proposed current models can account for all of the observations. But these people choose to remain within the comforting walls of materialism, so by definition they "KNOW" that somehow it all happened by natural processes. However, this is an abuse of the meaning of the word "know". They should say, based on their worldview, they "think" or "believe", or "assume" that it all happened by natural processes, but this is their a priori assumption and it cannot be proven. I guess they are afraid to truly admit what the problems and puzzles are that still exist in their evolutionary scenarios - probably because it would expose the weaknesses of their theory. If they did that, I guess they are worried that they would have even more trouble than they do now in getting people to believe in their various hypotheses. tjguy
