That’s what he was complaining about. He never said Dawkins didn’t have the right to say those things. But it wasn’t an interview , it was a hatefest.
He got nothing from the BBC but bumf in response (surprise, surprise).
Then the story grew legs. A member of Parliament and former cabinet minister has responded:
Thanks for this, and for your previous email copying to me your complaint. I didn’t see the interview in question, but I agree with you that (whatever the merits or otherwise of the argument) the interjection of personal views and dismissive comments would be an intrusive deviation from proper standards of impartiality.
I shall take up your concerns with the Culture Secretary as requested, and also with the Director General as Editor-in-Chief of the BBC.
UD News thinks he better see the vid soon.

So Dawkins has resorted to trying to impose his own, atheist mythology upon innocent, impressionable children’s minds? That’s a new low. Should we be be surprised?
It seems that in the absence of any positive evidence that would presumably strengthen the assumption of undirected, natural causes, the best Dawkins can do is take cheap shots at others who respectfully and in the privacy of their own home, believe differently than he does, even calling them “stupid” as evidenced by the interview video above.
I sincerely hope the BBC and Paxman are reprimanded for their lack of journalistic integrity and promotion of propaganda.
The lead-in says the story grew legs; but I can’t find anything about it on the Internet. Can you cite a website, or say who the prominent politician is?
