A one-paper-size look at what’s wrong with theoretical physics today

It's instructive to compare biology and physics. Biology thought it was done in 1954 after DNA, and stopped trying to look for new stuff. The 50-year sabbatical helped. By 2000, the old thinkers had been Kuhned, so new thinkers were able to take off the theory goggles and start looking for life and complexity in places where it "couldn't possibly exist", like deep rocks and the inside of a bacterium. Physics never took a sabbatical. The old thinkers remained in charge of grants, continually supporting new nonsense that bolstered their pet theories. Good old Parkinson. Moreover, allowing the Agent causality of God ‘back’ into physics, as the Christian founders of modern science originally envisioned,,,, (Isaac Newton, Michael Faraday, James Clerk Maxwell, and Max Planck, to name a few of the Christian founders),,, and as quantum mechanics itself now empirically demands (with the closing of the free will loophole by Anton Zeilinger and company), rightly allowing the Agent causality of God ‘back’ into physics provides us with a very plausible resolution for the much sought after ‘theory of everything’ in that Christ’s resurrection from the dead provides an empirically backed reconciliation, via the Shroud of Turin, between quantum mechanics and general relativity into the much sought after ‘Theory of Everything”. The primary problem, not just with physics, but with science as a whole today is that, in forsaking the immaterial Mind of God and thus forsaking their own immaterial minds, scientists have ended up forsaking reality itself and are thus, basically, in a realm of pure fantasy and imagination. Since for anything to be 'real' for us in the first place, that necessarily presupposes that we are first conscious of it for it to even be 'real' for us in the first place, then it directly follows that there is simply no coherent definition of reality that we can put forth that neglects the primacy of consciousness in defining 'reality'

The technical term for excluding the Mind of God, and our own immaterial minds, from scientific explanation is called 'methodological naturalism'. Yet, in presupposing 'methodological naturalism', and in forsaking the Mind of God, and thus in forsaking his own immaterial mind, the atheist winds up in an ocean of fantasy and imagination with no discernible anchor for reality to grab on to:

Basically, because of reductive materialism (and/or methodological naturalism), the atheistic materialist is forced to claim that he is merely a ‘neuronal illusion’ (Coyne, Dennett, etc..), who has the illusion of free will (Harris), who has unreliable, (i.e. illusory), beliefs about reality (Plantinga), who has illusory perceptions of reality (Hoffman), who, since he has no real time empirical evidence substantiating his grandiose claims, must make up illusory “just so stories” with the illusory, and impotent, ‘designer substitute’ of natural selection (Behe, Gould, Sternberg), so as to ‘explain away’ the appearance (i.e. illusion) of design (Crick, Dawkins), and who must make up illusory meanings and purposes for his life since the reality of the nihilism inherent in his atheistic worldview is too much for him to bear (Weikart), and who must also hold morality to be subjective and illusory since he has rejected God (Craig, Kreeft). Who, since beauty cannot be grounded within his materialistic worldview, must hold beauty itself to be illusory (Darwin). It would be hard to fathom a worldview more antagonistic to modern science, indeed more antagonistic to reality itself, than Atheistic materialism and/or methodological naturalism have turned out to be.

Lewontin once described the supposed 'reasoning' behind the atheist's assumption of methodological naturalism, (i.e. behind forsaking the Mind of God, and our own immaterial minds), in science as such,

As to Lewontin's claim that the "at any moment the regularities of nature may be ruptured, that miracles may happen", that claim from Lewontin harkens directly back to David Hume's claim, in the 1700's, against miracles, Specifically David Hume stated, “A miracle is a violation of the laws of nature;”

“A miracle is a violation of the laws of nature; and because firm and unalterable experience has established these laws, the case against a miracle is—just because it is a miracle—as complete as any argument from experience can possibly be imagined to be.” – David Hume, An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding – 1748

After self-servingly presupposing that the laws of nature are completely natural with no need of God to explain their existence, David Hume, in the same passage, goes on to argue that, basically, since a man rising from the dead would violate the laws of nature, then Jesus resurrection from the dead is a violation of the laws of nature and is therefore impossible.

“Nothing is counted as a miracle if it ever happens in the common course of nature. When a man who seems to be in good health suddenly dies, this isn’t a miracle; because such a kind of death, though more unusual than any other, has yet often been observed to happen. But a dead man’s coming to life would be a miracle, because that has never been observed in any age or country.” – David Hume, An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding – 1748

Yet, David Hume, as an atheist, simply had no right to presuppose that the laws of nature are completely natural with no need of God to explain their existence. As Paul Davies stated in 1995, “even the most atheistic scientist accepts as an act of faith that the universe is not absurd, that there is a rational basis to physical existence manifested as law-like order in nature that is at least partly comprehensible to us. So science can proceed only if the scientist adopts an essentially theological worldview.”

Physics and the Mind of God: The Templeton Prize Address – by Paul Davies – August 1995 Excerpt: “People take it for granted that the physical world is both ordered and intelligible. The underlying order in nature-the laws of physics-are simply accepted as given, as brute facts. Nobody asks where they came from; at least they do not do so in polite company. Again. atheists, especially with their a-priori metaphysical assumption that the ‘the universe was a meaningless jumble of odds and ends haphazardly juxtaposed’ simply have no right to presuppose that the laws of nature are completely natural. Atheists, with their ‘bottom up’ materialistic explanations, simply have no clue why there should even be universal laws that govern the universe in the first place:

Thus for David Hume, again an atheist, to self-servingly presuppose that the laws of nature are completely natural and that the laws of nature therefore preclude the possibility of any further miracles from even being possible. i.e. “A miracle is a violation of the laws of nature;“, was a severely disingenuous and dishonest thing for him to do. And thus the 'reasoning' behind methodological naturalism is based, basically, on a lie. All of modern science was born out of the Christian presupposition that God ‘miraculously’ upholds this universe via His laws of nature.
