Some have even gone as far as claiming that life on Europa could be strikingly intelligent.

“If there is something on Mars, it’s likely to be very small — bacteria,” Monica Grady, the chancellor at Liverpool Hope University in the UK, said in a contentious statement back in February. “But I think we’ve got a better chance of having slightly higher forms of life on Europa, perhaps similar to the intelligence of an octopus.”

Of course, we don’t really have any idea whether there are Europan “octopuses.” And to think they call self-driving car entrepreneur Musk “eccentric.”

But it’s fun and it beats warfare.

I'm pretty sure there was, at least, and he put it there. That Tesla he launched into space was probably covered with bacteria and visuses which were alive until radiation fried them. And I hate to disillusion his fans but he can be as wrong as the next person.Seversky
