Jack Golightly, "Very nice. Such a positive atmosphere. Steve Meyer made a comment in recounting his journey into the world of ID about the arguments of ID being so much more intellectually engaging. This was the general feeling at Biola last evening. Hard to imagine a bunch of evolutionists having an event like this without it reeking of cynicism and, well, nastiness. One gets the feeling that all they want to talk about is how to shut down ID." This is a telling comment. I agree. No matter what one's life philosophy, you have to ask the question, "just what is responsible for this positive and genial atmosphere?" It's real and something or someone is responsible for it.bj

I went! Very nice. One gets the feeling that all they want to talk about is how to shut down ID. The closest thing to anything derogatory was when Dr. Meyer had a slide up with a quote and picture of Charles Lyell. He pointed out that no, it wasn't Charles Darwin, just another bad Victorian haircut.Jack Golightly

I really enjoyed the DVD. I especially like the interview with Jonathan Wells, where he talked about taking a living cell in a sterile test tube, killing it, and then waiting for it to spontaneously re-assemble itself - simple but effective. I wish Strobel dedicated a little more time to m-theory though. All in all great DVD.shaner74
