Here:
“Religion’s ideas are so intelligent, so subtle, they are not fit to be abandoned to the religious alone,” said Alain de Botton, in a thought-provoking talk on bringing religious culture and traditions into secular life. Could a religious framework — without a supernatural aspect — help atheists live more meaningful, emotionally connected lives? Most of the TEDGlobal audience seemed to think so — the talk drew a thunderous standing ovation.

From some rube somewhere:
“Health awareness ideas are so intelligent, so subtle, they are not fit to be abandoned to the fanatics alone,” said All-lard de Avoirdupois, in a thought-provoking talk on bringing sensible diet and exercise into couch potato life. Could a health awareness framework — without a sensible-diet-and-regular-exercise aspect — help couch potatoes live more healthy, emergency-room absent lives? Most of the couch potatoes seemed to think so — the talk drew a thunderous standing ovation
But they did not go and do likewise, so they remained fat and unhealthy, and the atheists will remain without meaningful, connected lives.
While we’re here: What’s so great about a meaningful, connected life? Those who actually have one get whacked upside the head with all the demands. It’s so busy, you’d never know if it wasn’t meaningful. Is that progress?
