When confronted with their own religious doctrine, evolutionists are quick to deny any such thing. Evolution is based on religious claims, but after making these claims evolutionists insist their religious beliefs are entirely gratuitous. Their religious claims, evolutionists explain, are merely criticisms of design and creation. After all, we need to explain to the creationists why their ideas are not scientifically supported. The fact of evolution, on the other hand, is simply a scientific conclusion. But this evolutionary rendition is, as usual, at odds with the facts.  Read more

Bravoman, since you should definitely know better than I, Is not your pastor Dad referring to the unique 'living personal relationship' nature of Christianity, as compared to the other 'following dead dogmatic traditions' religions of the world? And if so, and if a 'science' has become dogmatism, as the 'science' of neo-Darwinism certainly has,,, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-518637672896741579# ,,, then is it not completely adequate for Darwinian 'science' to be correctly labeled religious, as well as for your dad to be correct in his differentiation of the uniqueness of Christianity as compared to 'religions' which have the facade of Godliness but lack the genuineness?bornagain77

So I'm not religious in any fashion myself, but I follow the ID debate out of scientific interest, that said... My Dad who is the pastor of a church claims not to be religious. If he isn't religious (why would he lie??), then 'science' definitely is not religious either!Bravoman

It seems to me by taking certain factual observations and applying them to Darwinian thought can be a science stopper. On the subject of lanugo, Jerry Coyne's viewpoint has been revealed and it shuts down all inquiry or investigation of the possibility lanugo could play in the development of the skin organ in the fetus. Could lanugo serve to help keep the skin porous during fetal development? Could it have some other purpose during that time? Perhaps skin development isn't totally understood by science?traderdrew

'Abusing Science' is to put what neo-Darwinians are doing to the reputation of the other hard sciences very mildly Dr. Hunter: Is evolution pseudoscience? Excerpt:,,, Thus, of the ten characteristics of pseudoscience listed in the Skeptic’s Dictionary, evolution meets nine. Few other?pseudosciences — astrology, astral projection, alien abduction, crystal power, or whatever — would meet so many. http://creation.com/is-evolution-pseudosciencebornagain77
