At Forbes, Ethan Siegel explains that there IS such a thing as a free lunch

All the heat the others have taken for insisting otherwise can now, apparently, be airily waved away:

The fact is that energy conservation only works at a particular location, not for the expanding Universe. You might have heard the expression that “there’s no such thing as a free lunch.” While that might be true here on Earth, that reasoning doesn’t apply to the expanding Universe. In fact, if ideas like inflation and the multiverse are correct, perhaps the real truth is that the Universe is the ultimate free lunch. In these trying times, this is one thing we can all be thankful for.

Ethan Siegel, “Ask Ethan: How Do We Get Enough Mass To Have A Multiverse?” at Forbes

Is he looking forward to a free lunch future? Worth wondering.

If the multi-verse existed through chaotic inflation such as suggested by Andrea Lindy
Then it would produce infinitely and would produce a universe that could eventually interact with our own and result in our inevitable Destruction

So Mr. Ethan you need to figure a way how to stop our universe from destroying itself without being intelligent because if it was a mindless universe creating machine it’ll just kill itself eventually like any other halting problem

And if you invoke some stupid crap remember that’s intelligent and you’re gonna have to explain why that stupid crap is in place to prevent the universes from destroying themselves

I’m sure evolution could explain it

The idea of a multi-verse can be nothing more than hypothesis, since it has never been viewed. To treat it as anything else is no different from Darwinists who have never witnessed evolution. Without witnessing something, it cannot be a theory. Even if something is witnessed, it must go through replication. How can something be replicated that has never been witnessed by anyone?
