A friend notes that Earth Flight, the latest megabudget BBC nature series, demonstrates what the BBC can do at its best:

Earthflight joins the breathtaking journeys across six vast continents of snow geese, cranes, falcons, albatross, eagles and other birds . Spycams film right in the heart of the flock with microlights, hang-gliders and wirecams making up the aerial filming arsenal.

He considers it an excellent, if unintended, antidote to Darwinism. Here’s an example of what Darwinism does to the BBC.
