If someone tossed an important part onto their car’s engine, and slammed down the hood, you wouldn’t expect it to work. And if it did work you’d be suspicious. The claim is either absurd or rigged. Read more

The eukaryote gots its mitochondria for Christmas- it was in a stocking hung on the fireplace mantle.
Don’t like that – well how about the eukaryote ordered it on-line?
Smells more like co-opted design, like that our cars now have computers and radios. All were designed independently, but work quite nicely when coordinated together. Key word is coordinated.
