I am afraid, because progressives don’t think my mind is right, and progressives are never satisfied until everyone’s mind is right.  I am afraid that in the not-too-distant future I am going to be playing Luke to some progressive Boss Paul:

Luke: Don’t hit me anymore…Oh God, I pray to God you don’t hit me anymore. I’ll do anything you say, but I can’t take anymore.

Boss Paul: You got your mind right, Luke?

Luke: Yeah. I got it right. I got it right, boss. [He grips the ankles of the guard]

Boss Paul: Suppose you’s back-slide on us?

Luke: Oh no I won’t. I won’t, boss.

Boss Paul: Suppose you’s to back-sass?

Luke: No I won’t. I won’t. I got my mind right.

It's ironic that the movement which believes that dead matter can assemble itself into life that over time grows ever more refined and complex, without guidance from any higher force, believes that human beings, without the guidance of a all-powerful authority, cannot assemble into a peaceful, complex society. This, even though the latter phenomenon has been observed, while the former has not.EvilSnack

Religious students more 'moral' than atheists or agnostics – study - March 2015 Excerpt: The study of 10,200 students and 250 teachers from 68 UK schools took place between February 2013 and June 2014 and is the largest of its kind. Researchers used surveys, moral dilemma tests and interviews. The religious students scored higher on the moral dilemma tests and within the religious group, those who practised their religion scored more highly than those who did not. Girls also scored higher than boys when faced with moral dilemmas.,,, The report takes as its starting point the growing consensus in Britain that virtues such as honesty, self-control, fairness, gratitude and respect, which contribute to good moral character, are part of the solution to many of the challenges facing society today. http://www.christiantoday.com/article/religious.students.more.moral.than.atheists.or.agnostics.study/49315.htm

REC, as usual, hard to tell whether you are a liar or just really ignorant. In case it's the latter, see http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2013/03/marriage-what-it-is-why-it-matters-and-the-consequences-of-redefining-it Excerpt:
The New Mexico Human Rights Commission prosecuted a photographer for declining to photograph a same-sex ‘commitment ceremony.’ Doctors in California were successfully sued for declining to perform an artificial insemination on a woman in a same-sex relationship. Owners of a bed and breakfast in Illinois who declined to rent their facility for a same-sex civil union ceremony and reception were sued for violating the state nondiscrimination law. A Georgia counselor was fired after she referred someone in a same-sex relationship to another counselor….

State Says Bakers Should Pay $135,000 for Refusing to Bake Cake for Same-Sex Wedding An Oregon administrative law judge recommended today that the bakers who refused to bake a cake for a same-sex wedding should be fined $135,000. “[T]he forum concludes that $75,000 and $60,000, are appropriate awards to compensate [the same-sex couple] for the emotional suffering they experienced,” http://dailysignal.com/2015/04/24/state-says-bakers-should-pay-135000-for-refusing-to-bake-cake-for-same-sex-wedding/ Excerpt: A few years ago I hosted gay activist attorney Andrea Ritchie on my radio program and asked her whether she believed the homosexual lobby could peacefully coexist with traditional Christian morality. After a very pregnant pause, she responded pointedly: "Sure, if Christians will give up their resistance to our cause." Today, in the midst of the inane opposition to the Indiana religious freedom bill, her alarming words prove frighteningly prophetic. Let's be clear what we are witnessing. Seeking to harness the power of the state to deny the rights of conscience to those who disagree with you – as the opponents of Senate Bill 101 are surely attempting to do – is a frightening appeal to a 21st century reincarnation of fascism: "Believe like us, think like us, embrace our views or be fined, fired, evicted or punished by the state." For all the insipid talk among its spokesmen about open-mindedness and tolerance, this strand of what liberal comedian Bill Maher dubs the "gay mafia" is a sworn enemy of both. And like their brethren of a century ago, the neo-fascists among us rely on a healthy dose of propaganda to fool the masses into supporting their agenda. http://www.indystar.com/story/opinion/2015/03/25/pete-heck-gay-rights-activists-christians-surrender-else/70427990/bornagain77

Hounded out of business? Some owners said some things many of their customers viewed as unacceptable. Those customers stopped spending their money at those businesses. The businesses failed. Sounds like the free market to me. What do you want, a subsidy for small business owners with antiquated opinions?REC

Look, you'll see who he represents as they pull him from the table following egg #50. For those of you who don't know the reference, all I can say is that "What we have here is a failure to communi--." See then the freedom pass on to his friends. Movie as metaphor, excellent. Unfortunately, for many progressives, there is only one final form of communication: force. Again, Chesterton in Orthodoxy,
The determinist does not believe in appealing to the will, but he does believe in changing the environment. He must not say to the sinner "Go and sin no more," because the sinner cannot help it. But he can put him in boiling oil; for boiling oil is an environment.

About the article REC When we disagree with your liberal ideas you immediately scream intolerance, discrimination, hate, bigotry etc... When liberals persecute, bash and discriminate against our ideas and bully us that's fight for equality and to promote tolerance and acceptance, right? Got it hypocrite.Eugen
