Innovation through redefining is a major disease. Pluto suddenly becomes a non-planet, followed by a rash of articles asking when we'll get around to discovering a ninth planet. An arbitrary set of membranes suddenly becomes an organ, followed by articles asking why we didn't see it before. A temporary tendency suddenly becomes a third gender. Our bloodthirsty frenzy to destroy Russia and Persia suddenly becomes "malign behavior" by Russia and Persia. Each of these redefinitions acts backward through time. A delusion that was first imagined last week suddenly becomes an eternal and obvious fact, and anyone in the past or present who failed to recognize the obvious fact must be exterminated.polistra_{May 10, 2018
