Those who ignore evidence are all the more blameworthy for that reason.
This is the definition of delusion. After the revolutionary hygienic benefits of the OT law are presented, I've seen Atheists criticize it because God merely said what not to do, and didn't explain germ theory......to the people that built a golden calf and worshiped it with orgy. Which, of course, explains why they weren't ready for a scientific dissertation.bb

bornagain77 at 1, the interesting thing is that the evidence pointed in the direction of avoiding contamination, even if one did not know the theory. Fortunately, one does not always need to know the exact causes of a danger in order to avoid it; outcomes, correctly sourced, can be enough. Those who ignore evidence are all the more blameworthy for that reason.News

Of Note:
In Numbers 19:11, 12 God gave instructions as to what to do after touching a dead body—a week being considered unclean, and a cleansing procedure. The instructions for washing after touching someone with a discharge (Leviticus 15) would also be appropriate. All this given about 1500 BC—well ahead of the medical practice current in Europe more than 3000 years later" - Theodore K. M.D. https://creation.com/semmelweis
