The mechanical forces that squeeze life into shape

Spread the love

Starting when we are embryos:

Yet the manner in which bodies and tissues take form remains “one of the most important, and still poorly understood, questions of our time”, says developmental biologist Amy Shyer, who studies morphogenesis at the Rockefeller University in New York City. For decades, biologists have focused on the ways in which genes and other biomolecules shape bodies, mainly because the tools to analyse these signals are readily available and always improving. Mechanical forces have received much less attention.

But considering only genes and biomolecules is “like you’re trying to write a book with only half the letters of the alphabet”, says Xavier Trepat, a mechanobiologist at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain.

we stupid creationists have been waiting for 150 years,
so why can’t Darwinians squeeze and pull life into shape in their fancy labs ?
150 years gone and Darwinians even don’t started to squeeze and pull life into shape …
There is NOT A SINGLE promising Darwinian experiment on this matter – Darwinians don’t know WHERE TO START! But we hear, every week, HOW IT MAY HAVE HAPPENED :))))

sure, FOR DECADES Darwinians were oversimplifying every single thing and misleading lay public – as we can see, Darwinians only scratched the surface …

Give a team of good mechanics all the individual parts of a car, and they could assemble it and get it running. Give a team of biochemists all the parts of a living cell and see if they can do the same.
