I once debated an evolution professor who attempted to make the point that evolution has great explanatory power. That is one of several claims evolutionists make about their theory—other such claims include that evolution doesn’t make false predictions, evolution is based on scientific observation, evolution is required for good science, and evolution is a fact—which are not correct. In fact, what is striking is that these claims evolutionists make are completely false. One hardly knows where to begin. Read more

Neo-Darwinian evolution cannot explain form of any type, much less can it explain a face. Whether it be a face that a million pictures have been taken of, or whether it be a face that only a mom could love, neo-Darwinism is at a complete loss to explain how its shape originated or how it attained its present shape. Recently, Dr. Wells did a video, wrote a paper, and did a podcast, on the failure of the central dogma of neo-Darwinism to give an adequate explanation for ‘form’, i.e. body plans.

It turns out that you don’t only need information to build genes and proteins, it turns out to build Body-Plans you need higher levels of information; Higher order assembly instructions. DNA codes for the building of proteins, but proteins must be arranged into distinctive circuitry to form distinctive cell types. Cell types have to be arranged into tissues. Tissues have to be arranged into organs. Organs and tissues must be specifically arranged to generate whole new Body-Plans, distinctive arrangements of those body parts. We now know that DNA alone is not responsible for those higher orders of organization. DNA codes for proteins, but by itself it does not insure that proteins, cell types, tissues, organs, will all be arranged in the body. And what that means is that the Body-Plan morphogenesis, as it is called, depends upon information that is not encoded on DNA. Which means you can mutate DNA indefinitely. 80 million years, 100 million years, til the cows come home. Cornelius, When I read the article I was thinking exactly the same thing-all they wanted to say was, we have high variability of faces, because evolution gave us high variability of faces. penguins don't have high variability of faces because they don't need high variability-because they can make noise. Haha. Do you know why evolution gave us feet for running? So we could run. Do you know why we have two arms? Evolution gave us so we could use both.
