I don’t know if uncommon descent has publicized the following video/talk by Dr. James Shapiro…..but if not, it needs to be……Shapiro is a rather dry speaker but says some astounding things all throughout this…….for instance, that retroviruses don’t insert themselves randomly…..that antibiotic resistance is not due to mutation, but rather horizontal gene transfer…..that variation is not random, that all molecular processes are under control….and lots more….he is not shy about hammering neo-darwinism, even if it’s in his low-key way. This is not to be missed.
