At The College Fix: Canceled intelligent design professor returns to Ball State U. with message: ‘God’s Not Dead’

A physics professor whose class considering intelligent design thrust Ball State University into the national spotlight years ago is scheduled to return to his old campus, which had shut down his popular “Boundaries of Science” course.
And Professor Eric Hedin’s topic de jour when he steps foot on his old stomping grounds? Intelligent design.
Hedin is slated to appear at Ball State on Oct. 26 as part of a “God’s Not Dead” nationwide tour of college campuses.
“I see this situation as a testimony to how God has worked things for good, even when it may have seemed like a loss at the time,” Hedin told The College Fix in an email Thursday.

AS78, yes and you are right. Hedin has a solid case which they do not want to hear. Unfortunately there is an unacknowledged dirty 4th gen so far low kinetic [cf. Ukraine] civil war in progress in the US, and the associated agit prop, polarisation and lawfare as well as rioting and politics of destroy the man . . . including the sort of slander driven career busting Hedin went through . . . taint everything. Just above JVL refused to acknowledge strategic incompetence, Reichstag fire incident tactics and just who it was spent twenty years bleeding while being targetted by the elites. Where there is now an established pattern of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Ah yes, the very same ignorant, stupid, insane or wicked flyover country inhabitants who are being blanket smeared as racists and insurrectionists to be swatted at will and grossly over-charged on flimsy excuse. Apparently it has not registered that US military recruitment is running dangerously below norms, because those targetted to be cannon fodder are moving towards fatal disaffection. The anti ID are only present because they respond to nonsense. Rational people act like the anti ID have substance in their nonsense. However the anti ID are nearly 100% bogus. They don't add anything to the world. On UD, they are also an illustration of the frivolity of the ID adherents. They will continue as long as ID treats them as real by responding to their nonsense.

There is much more in it than either of you are bringing up [e.g. much of the war on the E front in WW2 was in and around Ukraine with all that that implies], and it takes away from a serious issue regarding our Caspian. It's easy for you to sit on the other side of the world and say: we shouldn't be dealing with this, it's not our problem. The US tried that kind of isolationist thinking during The Great War (WWI) and eventually they joined the allies. The US tried that kind of thinking again in 1939, they mostly sat on their hands until one of the belligerents figured they wouldn't lift a finger 'cause clearly Americans didn't really want to get dirty. Korea . . . that was the UN really but the US decided to get involved and then made the whole conflict about them. Perhaps you'd feel differently if Russia wasn't threatening to overrun a few countries closer to yours unless someone does something? And, you know what? IF you get your way and the US leaves the field of battle the rest of Europe will keep fighting because our lives and countries and cultures count. So, go on, waltz off home like a prima donna who isn't the centre of attention. We'll just keep getting on with things while you continue to tear your politics asunder based on some made up stories and a load of people who think the world revolves around them.
