Brilliant and prophetic! I would be very surprised if the president of ISU doesn’t take Dr. Conway Moore’s advice.
It will be interesting to see which of the three devices takes precedent: (1) the policy no; (2) the committee no; or (3) the you’re-too-stupid no (formulated more diplomatically as “those outside the academy cannot appreciate how to balance all the variables in a tenure decision”).
