ID is Dead?

They say ID is dead yet they just can’t stop talking about it on Panda’s Thumb. I counted 21 mentions of “ID” and “Intelligent Design” on just the home page without expansion of any articles or comments.

If they believe ID is dead that means the thumbsters are necrophiliacs. Gross. I’ll add that to their growing list of character flaws; The Church Burnin’ Necrophiliac Ebola Boys. But hey, I just kid those fine folks. I understand that as chance worshippers they’re in the business of not letting go of dead ideas.

Hey Wesley! Can you spell non sequitur? I knew you could. 😛

Why does this site pay so much attention to PT? That's a pretty subjective statement in that "much" is not defined. Of the 10 recent entries as of this posting this was the only one in which PT was mentioned in the lead article. There have been a lot of recent legal/philosophical/religious threads but that seems mostly to be driven by the actions of our opponents. IOW, it looks like we won the science part of the battel and the everything-is-an-accident crowd is down to using Wizard of Oz gambits through religion (BlasphemChallenge) and the law (Cobb County consent decree) to maintain its status.tribune7

Darwin's followers ignored ID at first and look where it got them – fighting against it on a daily basis. Scientific evidence obviously is not enough to persuade them, so you must deal with the "other side" and never ignore them, hoping they'll just disappear.shaner74

I am puzzled. Why does this site pay so much attention to PT? PT will publish outrageous and offensive stuff so long as it is in existence no matter what we say or don't say. If Darwinism's death rattle is growing louder by the day (and it it), wouldn't we be better off to simply ignore PT and go about our own business?realgm

PT loves pretending that ID is dead just as much as pretending that the 19-century thinking of Darwinism is still alive and well.TerryL

As Donald Trump's latest book title says "There's no such thing as Over-Exposure". Thank you Panda's Thumb, for keeping the issues alive!russ
