Michael D. Thomas, Ph.D. is a Professor and Director of the Division of Spanish and Portuguese at Baylor and is an ordained pastor.  On his BLOG,  he has a dialog between God and Evolution I found fun.  There are some other ID posts on his site that are worth perusing.

Mr Bear, I don't know, I found those posts pretty muddled. He doesn't seem to have a clear idea of either ID or evolution. Perhaps colleagues from the Baylor Biology department could help him out. Speaking of Baylor Biology, I saw they have this statement on their website: "Evolution, a foundational principle of modern biology, is supported by overwhelming scientific evidence and is accepted by the vast majority of scientists. Because it is fundamental to the understanding of modern biology, the faculty in the Biology Department at Baylor University, Waco, TX, teach evolution throughout the biology curriculum. We are in accordance with the American Association for Advancement of Science's statement on evolution. We are a science department, so we do not teach alternative hypotheses or philosophically deduced theories that cannot be tested rigorously." Sad they have to write such stuffs. Also, isn't Dr Marks (of Dembski and Marks LCI paper) at Baylor? He obviously knows a lot about ID and evolution also, and could help your friend out.Nakashima
