Alexander Oparin’s 1924 prediction that origin of life research would be solved “very, very soon” may have been premature, but now, almost a century later, evolutionists have apparently found their much needed solution. In fact they have several solutions.  Read more

It is very interesting to note that quantum entanglement, which conclusively demonstrates that ‘information’ in its pure 'quantum form' is completely transcendent of any time and space constraints, should be found in molecular biology on such a massive scale, for how can the quantum entanglement 'effect' in biology possibly be explained by a material (matter/energy) 'cause' when the quantum entanglement 'effect' falsified material particles as its own 'causation' in the first place? (A. Aspect, A. Zeilinger) Appealing to the probability of various configurations of material particles, as Darwinism does, simply will not help since a timeless/spaceless cause must be supplied which is beyond the capacity of the material particles themselves to supply! To give a coherent explanation for an effect that is shown to be completely independent of any time and space constraints one is forced to appeal to a cause that is itself not limited to time and space! i.e. Put more simply, you cannot explain a effect by a cause that has been falsified by the very same effect you are seeking to explain! Improbability arguments of various 'special' configurations of material particles, which have been a staple of the arguments against neo-Darwinism, simply do not apply since the cause is not within the material particles in the first place! Whereas, unlike materialistic atheists, as a Christian Theist I have a beyond space and time cause that I can appeal to!
John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
Supplemental notes; ,,,Encoded ‘classical’ information such as what Dembski and Marks demonstrated the conservation of, and such as what we find encoded in computer programs, and yes, as we find encoded in DNA, is found to be a subset of ‘transcendent’ (beyond space and time) quantum entanglement/information by the following method:,,,
Quantum knowledge cools computers: New understanding of entropy – June 2011 Excerpt: No heat, even a cooling effect; In the case of perfect classical knowledge of a computer memory (zero entropy), deletion of the data requires in theory no energy at all. The researchers prove that “more than complete knowledge” from quantum entanglement with the memory (negative entropy) leads to deletion of the data being accompanied by removal of heat from the computer and its release as usable energy. This is the physical meaning of negative entropy. Renner emphasizes, however, “This doesn’t mean that we can develop a perpetual motion machine.” The data can only be deleted once, so there is no possibility to continue to generate energy. The process also destroys the entanglement, and it would take an input of energy to reset the system to its starting state. The equations are consistent with what’s known as the second law of thermodynamics: the idea that the entropy of the universe can never decrease. Vedral says “We’re working on the edge of the second law. If you go any further, you will break it.” http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/06/110601134300.htm
A few notes on photosynthetic life:
U-rich Archaean sea-floor sediments from Greenland - indications of +3700 Ma oxygenic photosynthesis (2003) http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2004E&PSL.217..237R The Sudden Appearance Of Photosynthetic Life On Earth - video http://www.metacafe.com/watch/4262918 Uncovering Quantum Secret in Photosynthesis - June 20, 2013 Excerpt: Photosynthetic organisms, such as plants and some bacteria, have mastered this process: In less than a couple of trillionths of a second, 95 percent of the sunlight they absorb is whisked away to drive the metabolic reactions that provide them with energy. The efficiency of photovoltaic cells currently on the market is around 20 percent.,,, Van Hulst and his group have evaluated the energy transport pathways of separate individual but chemically identical, antenna proteins, and have shown that each protein uses a distinct pathway. The most surprising discovery was that the transport paths within single proteins can vary over time due to changes in the environmental conditions, apparently adapting for optimal efficiency. "These results show that coherence, a genuine quantum effect of superposition of states, is responsible for maintaining high levels of transport efficiency in biological systems, even while they adapt their energy transport pathways due to environmental influences" says van Hulst. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/06/130620142932.htm Plants 'seen doing quantum physics' - By Jason Palmer - 21 June 2013 Excerpt: "What you see here is this photon comes in, and it sees many energy pathways," explained Prof van Hulst. "Where does it go? It goes to the one that's most efficient, the one where this quantum effect tells you it has the highest probability (of being put to use)," he told BBC News. But the soft, flexible, warm conditions at room temperature mean that, as things move and jiggle - as life tends to do - that most efficient path can change. Remarkably, so did the evident path along the rings. ,,,- "this for me is something shocking," Prof van Hulst continued. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-22996054

As everyone on UD knows, who has been around here a while, Dr. Stephen Meyer wrote a book in 2009 named Signature in the Cell.
Signature in the Cell: DNA and the Evidence for Intelligent Design Paperback by Stephen C. Meyer http://www.signatureinthecell.com/
In that book (and in his subsequent book Darwin's Doubt) Dr. Meyer points out that the central question to be answered for the origin of life (and for the Cambrian Explosion respectfully) is, 'Where Did The Information Come From?'
The DNA Enigma - Where Did The Information Come From? - Stephen C. Meyer - video http://www.metacafe.com/watch/4125886/ Dr. Stephen Meyer: Darwin's Dilemma - Where did the information come from? - video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CTKKrtSc8
Dr. Meyer also points out in that book, working from the same method of reasoning that Darwin himself used to establish his theory, that the most adequate explanation for that information is Intelligence:
Stephen Meyer - The Scientific Basis Of Intelligent Design - video https://vimeo.com/32148403
Darwinists have objected in two ways. One way was/is, as Francis Crick, co-discover of DNA (and an atheist), did when confronted with the sheer impossibility of DNA arising by chance alone on earth, was to posit 'directed panspermia'
Francis Crick and Directed Panspermia http://ofbacteriaandmen.blogspot.com/2012/08/francis-crick-and-directed-panspermia.html
In which space aliens supposedly seeded life on earth. And Richard Dawkins himself agreed with Crick in this following video at the 3:16 minute mark (although he soon backtracked) that scientists might 'find a signature of some type of Intelligence' in life:
Ben Stein vs. Richard Dawkins Interview - video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlZtEjtlirc
Needless to say, ID advocates, since ID only argues that the scientific evidence points to Intelligent Design, and leaves the philosophical arguments aside, were quite happy to take that concession from Dawkins. But he, as I stated earlier, almost immediately backtracked. A more recent approach of some atheistic Darwinists has been to say that we have no evidence of an Intelligence, such as ourselves, being alive back then, so life must have, however improbable, arisen by materialistic means. Thus to counter this argument, I like to point out the immaterial nature of information:
Is There Evidence of Something Beyond Nature? - John Lennox - semiotic information - video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6rd4HEdffw “One of the things I do in my classes, to get this idea across to students, is I hold up two computer disks. One is loaded with software, and the other one is blank. And I ask them, ‘what is the difference in mass between these two computer disks, as a result of the difference in the information content that they posses’? And of course the answer is, ‘Zero! None! There is no difference as a result of the information. And that’s because information is a mass-less quantity. Now, if information is not a material entity, then how can any materialistic explanation account for its origin? How can any material cause explain it’s origin? And this is the real and fundamental problem that the presence of information in biology has posed. It creates a fundamental challenge to the materialistic, evolutionary scenarios because information is a different kind of entity that matter and energy cannot produce. In the nineteenth century we thought that there were two fundamental entities in science; matter, and energy. At the beginning of the twenty first century, we now recognize that there’s a third fundamental entity; and its ‘information’. It’s not reducible to matter. It’s not reducible to energy. But it’s still a very important thing that is real; we buy it, we sell it, we send it down wires. Now, what do we make of the fact, that information is present at the very root of all biological function? In biology, we have matter, we have energy, but we also have this third, very important entity; information. I think the biology of the information age, poses a fundamental challenge to any materialistic approach to the origin of life.” -Dr. Stephen C. Meyer earned his Ph.D. in the History and Philosophy of science from Cambridge University for a dissertation on the history of origin-of-life biology and the methodology of the historical sciences.
And as tantalizing as it is to use the immaterial nature of information to argue that the Intelligence that created life must therefore be beyond space and time, i.e. God, (and to thus circumvent to argument that no Intelligence existed prior to man) we can go one step further and actually produce evidence for beyond space and time Quantum Information/Entanglement in life. Quantum Information that cannot possibly be reduced to a within space and time cause!
Quantum Information/Entanglement In DNA - Elisabeth Rieper - short video http://www.metacafe.com/watch/5936605/ Quantum Entanglement and Information Quantum entanglement is a physical resource, like energy, associated with the peculiar nonclassical correlations that are possible between separated quantum systems. Entanglement can be measured, transformed, and purified. A pair of quantum systems in an entangled state can be used as a quantum information channel to perform computational and cryptographic tasks that are impossible for classical systems. The general study of the information-processing capabilities of quantum systems is the subject of quantum information theory. http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/qt-entangle/

But evolutionists in Texas have discovered that life began in dark, hot, and isolated environments of crater with hydrothermal vents that served as incubators for life. Convective currents brought organic molecules together, including RNA and proteins which emerged simultaneously. The discovery is apparently monumental. As one evolutionist exclaimed, “This is what we’ve all searched for – the Holy Grail of science.”
'the Holy Grail of science.' ... LOL! Sounds like a line from Gary Larson's Far Side.JGuy

Oparin’s prediction may be late in coming, but now it seems that the cup runneth over. Not only has the problem been solved, but several times over with many different solutions.
Life arose multiples time in multiple places. It's not so hard to believe if you don't think life was just pure accident.Mung
