Weather Network: Slug-like object spotted on Pluto

The high-resolution image transmitted to Earth on Dec. 24 from the Long Range Reconnaissance Imager (LORRI) shows the dwarf planet’s icy surface. However, look a little closer and you may see a strange and dark snail-like object.

Sorry to rain on someone's parade somewhere but this is not a slug or anything of that kind. In my opinion, it's just an ice cave-in on the surface of Pluto. I'm sure there is bound to be a lot of those on an ice covered planet. This would also suggest the existence of underground rivers. Mapou
