Signs of the Catholic Church Coming Out Against Neo-Darwinism and for ID

Cardinal Schönborn’s oped today in the NYTimes is one of the first signs that the Catholic Church under Pope Benedict XVI is going to be repudiating neo-Darwinism and supporting ID. Speed of Mutations and Not Natural Selection the Key

For more than three decades, molecular evolutionists have thought that no matter how many genetic mutations show up on a specific gene, whether or not those mutations become fixed in the species is determined primarily by natural selection.
