At Mind Matters News: We trust nonsense from lab coats more than from gurus

It’s hard to understand why the researchers take comfort from finding that, worldwide, people will believe absolute nonsense if it comes from scientists. Read More ›

We’re not your lab rats any more: Convoy update III

So much news worldwide now. I’ll just keep adding to it, putting new items at the top so you can keep checking back. I will try to group them loosely by topic where possible. This post is stickied for now so news news added on other topics is below this post. Read More ›

Politics has invaded the world of human fossil analysis

At Areo: "Perhaps the most well-known example of the politicization of ancient DNA studies is the long legal battle for control of the remains of Kennewick Man, which were found in Washington State in 1996. Based on skull shape—the best evidence available at the time—scientists initially inferred that his most probable ancestry was European. Local Native American groups sued to have his remains reburied without further analysis under a 1990 US federal law..." Read More ›

Truckers to government: We are not your lab rats any more

The last word in elite cluelessness belongs to Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson: “It’s disturbing when you see the protest turning into what looks like some kind of a fun carnival, where they’ve got bouncy castles and hot tubs and saunas, a complete insult to the people who are putting up with this nonsense for the last seven days, and it shows a great deal of insensitivity,” ... Mr. Watson, kids - who are not at significant risk via COVID - have been in elite progressive COVID-19 jail for years. Soon, other parents are also going to get red-pilled and start liberating their kids from Trust the Science! jail. And trust them to think they have the right to ask some hard questions. Read More ›

The police swoop in Ottawa: The Constitution? Old news now

“Trust the science!” is starting to show its totalitarian face in Canada — but, as they slowly learn the facts, citizens are standing their ground, From the comments: “Canadians: ‘Be polite when you are being arrested.’ u guys rock!” (Sure, commenter. The cost of silencing science debate: Subjective science

A vaccine research scientist from mainland China discusses the cost of authoritarianism in science. What I saw at the Freedom Convoy in downtown Victoria – various updates

It was all friendly; people were having a good time. There was no violence; I heard no racial epithets and saw no racial insignia. So if media tell you that it is really about white nationalsm, etc., remember that the legacy Canadian media are in fact supported to stay in business by the federal government. Because few depend on them for news any more. Read More ›

CoVid Spike Protein and Myocarditis Study: The Covid “Vaccine” is a Spike Protein Initiator.

Today at Phys.Org, this press release and linked paper can be found. Now, listen to this: A research team led by Bristol’s Professor Paolo Madeddu exposed human heart pericytes, which are cells that wrap small blood vessels in the heart, to SARS-CoV-2 Alpha and Delta variants, along with the original Wuhan virus. Surprisingly, they found the heart pericytes were not infected. Intrigued by this finding, in a second test-tube experiment, the researchers challenged the cardiac pericytes with the spike protein alone, without the virus. The spike protein made pericytes unable to interact with their companion endothelial cells and induced them to secrete inflammatory cytokines, suggesting the spike protein is harmful to human cardiac cells. Interestingly, the team found that antibodies Read More ›

How Newton’s model of mechanical universe paved the way for uncritical acceptance of Darwinism

The thing about such models is that they receive a great deal of social support and a person who diligently enquires into the evidence, exposing defects, is treated with — at best — suspicion. Not a healthy situation for honest inquiry. Read More ›

But Wasn’t Eugenie Scott PAID to Confuse People?

If Scott had so far forgotten her disinformation mission that she actually made distinctions between ID and creationism, she would end up triggering the thing she would most want to avoid: Serious reasons why a reasonable person might doubt Darwinism. Her organization’s mission was to prevent that. Read More ›
